Introducing Dr. Jesse M. Mumba
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to introduce our esteemed speaker for today’s TORG webinar on “The Management of Central Venous Catheter”: Dr. Jesse M. Mumba.
Dr. Mumba is a Consultant Specialist Anaesthetist, bringing a wealth of expertise with a focus on cardiothoracic, neuro, and geriatric anaesthesia. His dedication to the field extends beyond clinical practice, as he serves as an honorary lecturer at the University of Namibia, fostering the next generation of medical professionals through knowledge transfer to registrars and medical students alike.
His journey in medicine has been marked by a global perspective, having undergone training in various jurisdictions. From his undergraduate studies in Russia to internships at Zambia’s University Teaching Hospital, and postgraduate studies at the University of Cape Town, Dr. Mumba embodies the richness of diverse education systems.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Mumba finds joy in the company of his family and friends, drawn from diverse cultures and backgrounds. An artist at heart, he indulges in playing stringed musical instruments, with a particular fondness for the acoustic guitar.
