Joining TORG as a volunteer provides a unique opportunity to contribute your skills, expertise, and passion to various committees. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following Global committees:
Research and Development Committee: The Research and Development Committee tirelessly explores new frontiers in surgical innovation, aiming to enhance patient outcomes by refining techniques, developing advanced tools, and pioneering novel procedures. Through rigorous experimentation and collaboration, they push the boundaries of surgical excellence, shaping the future of healthcare.
Advocacy and Strategy Committee: The Advocacy and Strategy Committee stands as a beacon for global surgical equity, advocating for improved access to essential surgical care worldwide. With strategic planning and persuasive advocacy, they work to influence policies, mobilize resources, and empower communities to ensure that every individual, regardless of their background or location, receives the surgical care they deserve.
Evaluation & Feedback Committee: The Evaluation & Feedback Committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our volunteer efforts. Through meticulous assessment and gathering of feedback, they continuously refine our operational processes, enhance volunteer training programs, and optimize resource allocation, ensuring that our missions achieve maximum impact and benefit for those we serve.
Policy and Guidelines Committee: The Policy and Guidelines Committee serves as the guardian of standards and protocols, laying the groundwork for safe, ethical, and high-quality surgical interventions globally. With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, they develop comprehensive policies and guidelines that uphold the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and integrity in all our endeavors.
Health and Safety Committee: The Health and Safety Committee is dedicated to safeguarding the well-being of our volunteers and the communities we serve. Through proactive risk assessment, stringent health protocols, and comprehensive safety measures, they ensure that every surgical mission is conducted with the utmost care and consideration for the health and safety of all involved.
