Ladies and gentlemen,
Emma is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Ophthalmology from Ireland. She holds a Bachelor of Science in General Nursing from University College Cork and is a Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. She has further honed her skills with a Postgraduate Diploma in Ophthalmic Nursing from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, as well as a Nursing Diploma in Healthcare Management.
With her extensive background, including previous roles as a Clinical Nurse Manager in Ophthalmology at Cork University Hospital, Emma brings invaluable insights to our exploration of glaucoma diagnosis and management. Currently serving as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Ophthalmology at University Hospital Limerick Hospitals Group, Emma’s dedication to nurse education, particularly in the field of Ophthalmology, is truly commendable.
