TORG Mentorship Program

INTRODUCING TORG MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

TORG Mentors help their mentees better understand how to navigate long-term operating room career paths and trajectories.

BE A MENTOR!

You don’t need to be an expert to support someone. Make a difference with your unique experiences and skills.

Inspire your mentee to be more productive and engaged at work on a daily and long-term basis, thereby helping to boost overall organizational performance.

ARE YOU A MENTEE IN NEED OF AN OR GLOBAL MENTOR?

Know that they’re giving advice, not instructions.

It’s easy to follow everything your mentor says verbatim, but remember that although they may have more experience than you do, we’re all different and entitled to our own opinions!

If you’d like to go on a route different from what they suggested, don’t be afraid to do so. Your mentor will understand that you have your own priorities and ideas as well, so tell them about your ideas and have a conversation rather than sticking to their words like a recipe – they will appreciate it more than you think.

It’s important to follow our community guidelines either as a mentor or as a mentee.

Share your viewpoints in a respectful manner, and not as if it’s a major disagreement.

●●●
We’ve added a mentorship program to the group so you can build skills one-on-one and share knowledge with another member of our community.

We are excited to see us build stronger relationships with one another and hope you’ll join.

✔If you haven’t paired with anyone yet, we encourage you to reach out!

✔ Make sure to check your requests as well.
