Patient safety begins with surgical discipline
The TORGโIndia Chapter, under the leadership of our National Director Dr. Krunal Soni, has taken an important step forward by delivering an intensive Surgical Asepsis Training for the Operation Theatre team at Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad.
Surgical asepsis is not merely a set of protocols, it is the very foundation of patient safety. Every action inside the operating theatre carries the responsibility of protecting lives, preventing infections, and ensuring the best possible surgical outcomes.
Through the Apollo PROTECT principles, this initiative goes beyond standardizing safe surgical practices. It reflects a culture where every patientโs well-being is the top priority and a committment to innovation, compassion, and uncompromised safety in healthcare.

The engagement and enthusiasm of the surgical teams during this session were inspiring. Their participation and commitment reaffirm that when knowledge is shared, standards are elevated and together we build safer operating environments.

At the Indian Chapter of The Operating Room Global (TORG), our mission is clear: to uphold the highest standards of surgical practice and infection prevention. At the core of our profession lies one unshakable duty: to P.R.O.T.E.C.T. our patients.
We are proud to carry this mission forward.

The TORGโIndia Chapter, led by our National Director Dr. Krunal Soni, has successfully delivered the second edition of the Surgical Asepsis Training Workshop for the Operation Theatre team at Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad.
Building on the strong foundation of our first session, this workshop reinforced the Apollo PROTECT principles and deepened the teamโs understanding of surgical discipline, infection prevention, and patient-centred care.
Each training is not just a repeat, it is a step forward in creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence in the operating theatre. The continued engagement of the surgical team demonstrates that safety is not an event, but a sustained commitment.
At TORG-INDIA, our mission remains clear: to uphold the highest standards of surgical asepsis and ensure that every patient receives safe, reliable, and uncompromised care. Together, we are building safer operating environments, one workshop at a time.
