Michele’s impressive career trajectory showcases his dedication and leadership in the healthcare sector. Starting as a Theatre Practitioner Nurse in 2015, he swiftly rose through the ranks, securing critical roles such as In-Charge Team Leader in Ophthalmic Theatres and Deputy Team Leader for ENT/Max-Fax Theatre at Rgh-Guh NHS in Newport, Wales, UK. In March 2023, Michele reached his current prestigious position as Deputy Team Leader for the CEPOD Emergency Theatres at GUH, NHS in Newport, Wales.
During his seven years of service in NHS UK Theatres, Michele developed exceptional managerial and technical skills, emphasizing effective communication with patients, surgeons, suppliers, and various departments. His expertise extends to areas such as HR, sterilization, pharmacy, procurement, Oracle systems, and OMNICELL stocking-control services.
Michele is known for his dedication to sharing knowledge with his team and his commitment to evidence-based practice and the latest medical studies. As a manager, he has focused on enhancing the cost-effectiveness of Omnicell cabinets and Oracle systems, contributing to the efficiency of Ophthalmic Theatres, ENT Max-Fax Theatres, and more.
Moreover, Michele’s problem-solving skills, honed through real-world experience and dedicated courses in Human Factors and Psychological Safety, enable him to navigate conflicts effectively. He actively supports and leads audits to ensure the organization meets its targets, always grounded in facts and evidence-based approaches.
In his recent role as Deputy Theatre Manager and Deputy Team Leader for the CEPOD Emergency Theatre Service, Michele achieved significant improvements in staff compliance with cost-effective equipment usage, course reviews, and confidence-building processes in areas such as ENT, Max-Fax, and Ophthalmic operations.
Michele’s management approach is based on clear communication and delegation processes, all meticulously reviewed and tailored to meet the organization’s specific needs. His professional mindset revolves around the pillars of the Quality Management Framework System and Management Risk Assessment.
In addition to his outstanding career, Michele holds Masters degree in law and Bachelors’ degree in nursing, along with certifications in various medical technologies and leadership and management from ILM Level 3. He is a multilingual professional with advanced knowledge of social networks and software platforms.
