We are honored to introduce Mr. Jessie Lopez as our esteemed speaker for this webinar. With a remarkable background in the healthcare industry, particularly in sterile processing and surgical technology, Mr. Lopez brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.
Having achieved multiple certifications through renowned organizations such as IAHCSMM (now HSPA), CBSPD, NCCT, SGNA, and ASQ, Mr. Lopez’s dedication to professional excellence is evident. Holding certifications in CRCST, CHL, CER, CIS, CSPDT, CFER, CSIS, CASSPT, T-SC, GST, and CQIA showcases Mr. Lopez’s commitment to staying abreast of industry standards and best practices.
Mr. Lopez’s journey in healthcare began as a certified veterinary technician, where he spent eight years honing his skills. Transitioning to the role of a surgical technologist, Mr. Lopez held dual positions as a surgical tech and sterile processing tech, gaining comprehensive insight into both areas of expertise. However, it was the world of sterile processing that captured Mr. Lopez’s passion, leading him to fully embrace the role of a sterile processor.
With a versatile professional background, Mr. Lopez’s experience extends beyond sterile processing. He has also worked as an agency technician and served as an assistant manager, demonstrating his ability to adapt to various roles and responsibilities. Currently, Mr. Lopez holds the position of an educator and quality assurance manager, where he has the privilege of sharing his extensive knowledge and helping others understand the reasoning behind our practices.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Lopez is the owner of W.D.Y.D CSP, a technician training course, and actively engages with the sterile processing community through his popular online presence as “STIR THAT POT” on Instagram and LinkedIn. His commitment to sharing insights, connecting with fellow professionals, and contributing to the growth of our industry is truly commendable.
