Johnson is a Registered Nurse, Author, Educator, and one’s of TORG’s Global Moderators, dedicated to advancing the field of Perioperative Nursing and healthcare.
With a profound passion for professional development and a commitment to optimal nursing care, Johnson brings a wealth of expertise in advanced Perioperative nursing education, public health, healthcare business, clinical research, and hospital nursing administration. As a patient advocate, he tirelessly promotes quality and safe patient care within a patient-centered environment.
Johnson’s impact extends beyond the borders of Nigeria, where he has pioneered the Society of Nurses’ Training in Endoscopy And Minimally Invasive Surgery, training over 300 endoscopy nurses and championing advancements in limited resource countries. His role as a Clinical Applications Specialist at SNEMIS-NG involves providing essential training on endoscopy and minimally invasive surgical equipment.
Having contributed significantly to the capacity building of nursing staff, particularly in perioperative care, Johnson’s extensive career includes roles as an advanced perioperative nurse specialist at the prestigious University College Hospital, Ibadan. His notable achievements include participating in pioneering minimally invasive surgeries in Nigeria, such as the first minimally invasive spine surgery, bariatric surgery, and advanced urological surgeries.
As the Founder and CEO of the Society for Nurses in Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Nigeria, and the Chairperson of the Executives’ Council of The Operating Room Global (TORG), Johnson continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare.
