TORG was pioneered in Nigeria, established in 2015 and helmed by founding members with a strong management team commanding extensive operating room experience. Currently, it has members from 90 countries.

Our Global Moderators comprise of dynamic operating room professionals with passion and dedication and are instrumental in developing the status and profile of TORG as a reputable organization. Over the last few years, The Operating Room Global (TORG) oversaw significant growth and expanded regionally including setting up Chapters.

Adebusola Adenike Owokole’s journey is one of remarkable achievement and unwavering dedication.  She has been instrumental in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals worldwide through her initiative of a reputable global organization such as The Operating Room Global (TORG). Under her guidance, TORG has served as a beacon of connectivity, bringing together operating theatre staff from 90 countries to share best evidenced-based practices, groundbreaking research in low and middle income countries (LMICs), innovations, and expertise, thereby enhancing global healthcare collaboration.

Through her visionary leadership, Adebusola has fostered a global community united in the pursuit of excellence in surgical care. Beyond her exemplary clinical practice, Adebusola is a prolific Amazon Author, Editor, and Writer, whose passion for sharing global knowledge and insights has earned her recognition as a thought leader in healthcare and beyond. In the realm of technology, Adebusola is also a proficient Computer Programmer and Web Developer. Her dedication to empowering individuals on a global scale extends to her roles as a Professional Coach and Motivator, where she inspires professionals to realize their full potential.

Adebusola has played a pivotal role in forging strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders to drive innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery. Adebusola is deeply committed to global healthcare mentorship and education, as evidenced by her role as the Founder and President of Adebusola Owokole Training & Consulting (ATC). Through this initiative, she mentors Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants seeking opportunities in the Republic of Ireland, Malta, and New Zealand, empowering them to thrive in their careers. 

She has helped hundreds of healthcare professionals to relocate to Europe and Oceania with their families in the last 6 years.

Through her initiatives of TORG and ATC, Adebusola has been committed to improving healthcare accessibility by supporting capacity-building initiatives, training programs, and infrastructure development projects in underserved communities. Her efforts have empowered local healthcare providers and promoted sustainable healthcare solutions, thereby increasing access to quality care for individuals around the world.

She’s got certifications from prestigious institutions such as Ondo State University of Medical Sciences, University of Benin Teaching Hospital,   Babcock University, Harvard University and Université Côte d’Azur, France, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland and Anglia Ruskin University, UK. Her expertise in leveraging technology for healthcare and education is unparalleled. She is a Doctorate Scholar (University of Limerick, Ireland).

The TORG Executive Council is the Third Arm of Governance of The Operating Room Global (TORG). It plays a critical role in guiding and leading TORG organization.

The Executive Council members are responsible for making strategic decisions, setting organizational goals, and overseeing the overall direction of TORG to fulfill its mission of advancing surgical care and enhancing healthcare outcomes worldwide.

For the last few years..our focus has been to enable as many operating theatre professionals as possible to have access to the information they need, tools and skills, using it to improve the policies and procedures obtainable in their health facilities.

With a belief that the best way to have a lasting impact is to build stronger communities of operating room professionals who will continue to push for a positive change.

Our mission is to establish local and international groups, update them on the use of latest O.R. technology , sponsor surgical conferences, working closely with operating room managers of key institutions in order to help them compete with world standards.. and be a great resource for multinational surgical missions.
